Tungsten carbide plates
Tungsten carbide plates are high-performance flat products manufactured via powder metallurgy, primarily composed of tungsten carbide (WC) as the hard phase and cobalt (Co) or other metals as the binder phase. Through a precise process of material blending, compaction, and high-temperature sintering, these plates achieve exceptional hardness (ranging from HRA 85 to 93 at room temperature) and superior wear resistance—far outperforming conventional steel and cast iron, with a service life 5-10 times longer than high-speed steel and 20-30 times longer than cast iron. They also boast excellent compressive strength (2800-4500 MPa), maintaining structural stability under heavy impact and extrusion loads, while retaining consistent hardness and strength at temperatures below 500°C, along with good corrosion resistance to neutral media like water and oil.
